Why “GreySpace”?
One of the challenges for any consultancy business is how it identifies itself, and having a separate name is a way of endorsing that identity. Of course, nowadays you need to ensure that you can set up an internet domain with an appropriate name, and it can be surprising how many names are taken already! To tell the truth, we arrived at the name GreySpace by accident rather than design, after much agonising and looking at – and testing – alternatives with clients and other friends.
We've had a very positive response to our name, with the connotations of grey matter and the real uncertainty that people feel when facing the challenges we help them address. We therefore believe our name honours the fact that in consultancy truth is often not absolute, linked to context rather than templates or ideology, and in shades of grey rather than black and white.
